Speaker: Jim Brayshaw Deploying database upgrades

A key aspect to building and releasing enterprise software is the capture, packaging, and execution of SQL server database changes.  Together, we’ll explore some of the processes, approaches, and tools we (and you) use to enable automation around database scripts.  We will cover version management, execution in the development environment, and packaging for deployment into new and existing test/live environments.

Jim Brayshaw joined UPCO in 2001, and leads the Microsoft Practice, delivering end-to-end solutions and consultancy to corporate business, ISV, and IT service clients throughout the UK. He has 18+ years experience of solutions delivery, and has specialised on the Microsoft platform since 1992. As well as technology expertise, Jim has played a leading role in the development of UPCOs agile development processes, service offerings, and lifecycle management products.

This event will be held at the UPCOs office please email me if you wish to attend so we can cater for the correct number of people

The event will start at 18:30 and go on till 21:00. Pizza and refreshments will be provided for attendees courtesy of UPCO.
