What’s new in MDX in AS2005
Chris Webb, SQL Server MVP, crossjoin.co.uk

MDX has changed in Analysis Services 2005: there are a lot of new functions, some behaviour (such as with solve order) is different and there are cool new features like MDX Script assignments and stored procedures. This presentation will give you a brief overview of all this and help you understand what pitfalls to look out for when migrating your AS2K application or building a new AS2005 application from scratch.

7pm - 7.45pm
Deploying multi-terabyte solutions with Analysis Services
Mark Hill, http://markiehillas.blogspot.com/

In this session we will look at the implications of large scale analysis services deployments. We will look at hardware sizing, scalability, network impact & talk about how to tune and analyse your cubes performance.

There will be a question and answer session at the end where you can field your own questions.
