Come and join us for this great evening focusing on administering your SQL Server and specifically SQL Server Storage. We will be looking at the options for compressing your database The evening is sponsored by Hyperbac and you will get a chance to win Not For Resale versions of Hyperbac products.
These meetings are great opportunities to meet other SQL Server professionals, get your burning issues solved.
This is a povisional agenda, it will be updated as we get more details.

19:20 - 19:40 Compressing your SQL Server with Hyperbac Online - Simon Sabin
Hyperbac's new product "Hyperbac Online" takes compression with SQL Server to the next level. This doesn't just allow you to compress your backups but also your whole database. Whilst this provides great storage savings it also enables you to restore your 100Gb production database files to another server that has a fraction of the space. This isn't possible even in SQL 2008 Enterprise edition.
We will be demonstrating Hyperbac Online and addressing all your questions around stability, durability and performance.
19:40 - 20:00 Networking with refreshments (sponsored by Hyperbac and Microsoft)
20:00 - 21:00 Storage the final frontier - Colin Leversuch-roberts
Colin is one of the most passionate people when it comes to storage.
He will be exploring the relationship between SQL Server and the physical storage tier.
