It's also a great opportunity to share your knowledge and gain exposure in the industry by giving a short 1 - 6 minute "nugget" demo/tip.
6.30pm – 7:30 Introduction to the Service Broker - Anthony Brown

Service broker is a technology available in all versions of SQL Server since SQL 2005 that provides a message based communication framework from within the database. This allows you to easily design distributed applications and to use asynchronous programming techniques for a scalable solution. The presentation is an introduction to this exciting technology and assumes no previous knowledge of service broker.

Anthony has been a sql server DBA since 1998 and have worked with all versions of SQL server since 6.5. Since 2001 he has worked at John Lewis on their website designing a highly scalable and resilient architecture for it. He has experience in many areas of sql server including service broker, replication and visual studio database projects.
