In this session we will run through the history of SQL Server Management Studio Add-ins, then goto through the step by step process of creating an Add-in for SQL Server Management Studio 2012. We will look at some of the cool things you can do and break. This session is for people who have some C# knownledge and want to extend SQL Server Management Studio.

Today’s IT teams have many different types of architect in them, yet their technical skills are just the foundation for a range of soft skills that if they didn’t have wouldn’t earn them the title of architect. The session looks at the different types of architect you might be, or want to become, and explores the skills you’re likely to need to become a more successful architect.
