SQL Server in the Evening
Our next event is being held on Thursday 28th February 2013 between 6.15-9.00pm,
and is being hosted in Thames Valley Park, Reading
at Coeo Ltd, 400 Thames Valley Park Drive, Reading, RG6 1PT.
This will be a data platform themed evening, with the next business intelligence evening on 30th May. The event will now alternate between data platform and business intelligence content.

There will be three main sessions that will take advantage of Coeo’s two Microsoft Certified Architects both being available on this day:

This session’s objective is to demystify the role of a SQL Server architect by considering the skills and roles they have and hopefully allowing you to see how the same skills can add rigour and structure to your career as any kind of SQL Server professional.
Technology Speaker - Christian Bolton, MCA/MCM/MVP, technical director, Coeo
Advanced data platforms using Windows Server 2012
Christian will discuss and demonstrate some of the new features of Windows Server 2012 that when coupled with SQL Server 2012 can provide a very capable and resilient data platform.
Technical Kick-off Speaker - Chris Guest, software design engineer, Microsoft
PowerShell and SQL Server
Chris will start the evening with a 20 minute session about using PowerShell with SQL Server.
